Frequently asked questions

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about acupuncture treatments and our clinic policies. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us.

Does acupuncture hurt?

Most patients experience little to no discomfort, as the needles are extremely fine—about the thickness of a human hair. You might feel a slight sensation of pressure or a tingling feeling; these are normal signs that your body is responding to the treatment.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of treatments depends on your specific condition, severity, and how your body responds. Acute issues may improve within 2–4 visits, while chronic conditions typically require 6–10 sessions or more for long-term benefits.

Is acupuncture safe?

Yes, it is remarkably safe when performed by a licensed professional. We strictly use only sterile, single-use, disposable needles to ensure the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently, we accept Cigna insurance, and we are in the process of credentialing with other major insurance providers.

How long does each session take?

Your initial visit will take about 50 to 70 minutes, as it includes a comprehensive health consultation and your first acupuncture treatment. Follow-up sessions typically last between 20 to 30 minutes.

Do I need to do anything after my treatment?

We recommend staying well-hydrated, avoiding strenuous exercise or heavy lifting, and resting for the remainder of the day to allow your body to maximize the benefits of the treatment.

What cancellation policy do you have?

We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This allows us to offer the time slot to other patients in need of care.

What are the treatment fees?

Our treatment fees are structured to support your healing journey. Please note that we currently accept cash payments only:

• Follow-up Sessions: $99 per visit

• 5-Session Package: $350 (Great value for continuous care)
